Section 3730.212 - Subpoenasa) Pursuant to Section 10 of the Act,upon verified application to the Hearing Officer by any party and upon a showing that such subpoena is reasonably required, or on motion of the Hearing Officer, the Hearing Officer shall issue a subpoena for attendance at a deposition or a hearing, which may include a command to produce books, papers, documents, or tangible things designated therein and reasonably necessary to resolution of the matter under consideration, subject to the limitations on discovery prescribed by these Rules.b) Every subpoena shall state the title of the action and shall command each person to whom it is directed to attend and give testimony at the time and place therein specified.c) The Hearing Officer, upon motion made promptly and in any event at or before the time specified in the subpoena for compliance therewith, may quash or modify the subpoena if it is unreasonable and oppressive.d) Any person served with a subpoena issued in accordance with these rules who shall refuse or neglect to appear or to testify, or to produce books, papers, accounts or documents as commanded in such subpoena shall be guilty of a Class B misdemeanor.Ill.
