Section 05.02.01.315 - ADMISSION HEALTH SERVICES AND TREATMENT RECORDS01.Prior Approval. Prior approval or review from the Department's regional R.N. is required for all non-routine health services, other than emergency services. Prior approval may be given for up to five (5) routine, pre-scheduled medical appointments.02.Medical Records. The Provider must assist the juvenile offender in organizing medical information, instructions, prescriptions, and any necessary follow up papers in a designated medical folder. Any time a juvenile offender receives treatment under this section or for any health related service, the Provider must retain the original medical record and immediately send a copy to the Department's regional R.N.03.Medical Billing. For uninsured juveniles, the Provider will notify the health care provider to submit medical bills directly to the Department's regional R.N. that approved the provision of services.Idaho Admin.
