Section 05.02.01.157 - OUT-OF-STATE TRAVELWhen a Provider is planning an out-of-state trip for any of its juvenile offenders, the facility administrator must obtain prior written authorization from the regional clinical supervisor or designee. The necessary sequence of action and approval is as follows:
01.Notification. The Provider must notify the juvenile services coordinator in writing fourteen (14) business days in advance of the scheduled trip with the following: a. Dates of the scheduled trip;d. Transportation arrangements;e. Where the juvenile offender will be staying if overnight accommodations are required (address and phone number); andf. Who is going, such as juvenile offender, and name and position of staff.02.Prior Approval. The program director must obtain all necessary approvals prior to authorizing travel.03.Interstate Compact for Juveniles. Any out-of-state travel for more than twenty-four (24) hours requires a travel permit and compliance with the Interstate Compact for Juveniles.Idaho Admin. Code r. 05.02.01.157
