Section 05.02.01.116 - DRIVERS01.Juvenile Transport. All drivers of vehicles transporting a juvenile offender must possess a valid driver's license from the applicable state and the proper licenses required by state law for the type of motor vehicle operated. All such operators' driving records must be checked through the Department of Motor Vehicles for the preceding three (3) years and annually after date of hire. During that time, the operator must not have had any felony traffic convictions or withheld judgments. Any incidents of suspended licenses during that time must be specifically reviewed by the Provider. Personnel files must contain evidence of training to transport a juvenile offender as well as other appropriate documentation.02.Parent or Guardian Transport. When parents or guardians are allowed to transport a juvenile offender for any reason, the Provider will ensure that the individual possesses a current and valid driver's license and insurance coverage.Idaho Admin.
