Section 02.04.26.550 - LIVESTOCK TRADER LOT PREMISESApproved livestock trader lots shall meet the following requirements:
01.Restraint System. A restraint system, approved by the Administrator, for humanely, efficiently and effectively restraining cattle for the purpose of inspecting, identifying, treating or testing of animals by state or federal animal health officials.02.Feed and Water. Provide access to a clean source of water sufficient for the number of cattle present, and an adequate quality and quantity of feed for all cattle on the premises for over twelve (12) hours.03.Pens. Comply with IDAPA 02.04.15, "Rules Governing Beef Cattle Animal Feeding Operations," and pens that contain cattle on the premises for over twelve (12) hours provide adequate pen space for the cattle to rest and ruminate and be adequately drained.04.Fences. Construct fences sufficient to prevent the escape of cattle from the premises, as determined by the Administrator.05.Condition. Maintain premises in good repair.Idaho Admin. Code r. 02.04.26.550
