Section 8-62-6 - Composition of the board(a) The superintendent of the department of education shall appoint three persons to the board.(b) The board members shall be appointed for three year terms and may be reappointed without limitation, or may be removed by the superintendent before the ending of the term. At the initial establishment of the board, the members shall be appointed to staggered terms of one, two, or three years.
