Section 8-60-25 - Location of services and transportation(a) Services on private school premises. Services to parentally-placed private school students with disabilities may be provided on the premises of private, including religious, schools, to the extent consistent with law.(b) Transportation: General. (1) If necessary for the student to benefit from or participate in the services provided, a parentally-placed private school student with a disability shall be provided transportation: (A) From the student's school or the student's home to a site other than the private school; and(B) From the service site to the private school, or to the student's home, depending on the timing of the services.(2) The department is not required to provide transportation from the student's home to the private school.[Eff 11/23/09] (Auth: 20 U.S.C. 1412(a)(10)(A), HRS § 302A-1112) (Imp: 34 C.F.R. §300.139 )
