Section 8-33-6 - Waiver of feesAll fees that may be assessed for adult education by the department of education may be waived by the principal for the following categories of students:
(1) Adults registered with the department of labor and industrial relations who are unemployed when they enroll in courses which will assist them in securing employment;(2) Adults certified by the department of human services as indigent when they enroll in classes which will assist them to become self-sustaining; and(3) Veterans who are entitled to federal educational assistance upon authorization of the veterans administration.
