Section 4-89-5 - License fee required; period of validityBefore the issuance of a new license or renewal of a license as a measuremaster, a license fee must be paid to the administrator.
(1) For a renewed license, the annual fee shall be $100 and the period of validity shall be from July 1 to midnight of the following June 30. Failure to remit the renewal fee shall result in forfeiture of the measuremaster's license as of midnight on June 30. A forfeited license may be reinstated upon payment of the fee, if the fee is paid within two years of the date of forfeiture. After two years, the person must reapply for a new license in accordance with § 4-89-4.(2) For a newly issued license, the fee shall be as follows:(A) If the license is issued during the period from July 1 through September 30, the fee shall be $100.(B) If the license is issued during the period from October 1 through December 31, the fee shall be $75.(C) If the license is issued during the period from January 1 through March 31, the fee shall be $50.(D) If the license is issued during the period from April 1 through June 30, the fee shall be $25. For a newly issued license, the period of validity shall be from the date that the license fee is paid until midnight of the following June 30.
(3) Any existing measuremaster license that is valid on the effective date of this chapter shall remain valid until the next renewal date.License fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
