Section 19-44-11 - Dishonored check service charge(a) Without prejudice to any other remedy, any person who issues to the department a dishonored check, as defined in section 490:3-506, Hawaii Revised Statutes, shall be assessed a $30.00 dishonored check service charge for each dishonored check.(b) Payment to, and acceptance by, the department of a dishonored check service fee shall not be construed as a waiver of any violation of Title 37, Hawaii Penal Code, Hawaii Revised Statutes, or of these rules.[Eff 5/20/82; am 11/7/91; comp 2/26/96; am 3/10/97; am and comp FEB 01 2010] (Auth: HRS § 266-2) (Imp: HRS § 266-2)
