Section 17-2028-82 - Occupancy by police officers(a) For the purpose of increasing security for tenants of a public housing project, the authority may allow police officers that would not otherwise be eligible for occupancy in public housing, to reside in a public housing dwelling unit.(b) The authority shall include in the PHA annual plan or supporting documents the number and location of the dwelling units to be occupied by police officers, and the terms and conditions of their tenancies; and a statement that such occupancy is needed to increase security for public housing tenants.(c) Occupancy by police officers shall be carried out pursuant to 24 C.F.R. § 960.505, as it existed on October 20, 2022.Haw.
