Section 17-602.1-29 - Expedited hearing and conference(a) The department shall expedite hearing requests from a household, where a decision must be reached before it normally would be. Hearing requests from the household shall be processed faster than others if necessary.(b) A prehearing conference for a household contesting a denial of expedited service under chapter 17-647 shall be scheduled within two working days, unless the household requests that the conference be scheduled later or states that the household does not wish to have a prehearing conference.Haw.
