A recipient is ineligible for continued buy-in coverage effective the month financial or medical payment is suspended or discontinued except when medical assistance coverage is suspended because of the recipient's admission to a hospital, skilled nursing, or intermediate care facility which is not a medical institution for mental disease or tuberculosis.
