Section 17-1737-61 - Provider requirements for participation in the medical assistance program
(a) Participation in the program as an EPSDT or a continuing care provider is open to public and volunteer clinics and health agencies, health maintenance organizations, prepaid health plans, group practices, and solo practitioners. EPSDT provider and continuing care provider shall meet all the requirements as set out in chapter 17-1736.
(b) EPSDT provider and continuing care provider approved by the department for program participation shall enter into a contractual agreement with the department. Contractual agreement shall include but not be limited to:
(1) Provider responsibility to maintain recipient's consolidated health history, including information received from other providers; and
(2) Department's responsibility to reimburse for:
(A) Medical screening services based on a negotiated per patient rate; and
(B) Routine dental examinations in accordance with the fee schedule established for the fee for services component of the medical assistance program (medicaid).
