The purpose of this chapter is to implement the provisions of section 201H-206, HRS, by establishing an affordable homeownership revolving fund program. The purpose of section 201H-206, HRS, as set forth in Act 227, Session Laws of Hawaii 2021, is to provide funds for the development of affordable for-sale housing projects by nonprofit community development financial institutions and nonprofit housing development organizations to facilitate greater homeownership opportunities for Hawaii residents.
