If any document filed with the corporation is not in substantial conformity with applicable rules of the corporation, the corporation may accept and file such documents and may request the filing of an amended document in conformance with the applicable rules. The mere fact of filing shall not waive any failure to comply with these rules, or any other legal requirement. If an amended document is requested by the corporation, the amended document shall be effective, as of the date the corporation receives it.
