Section 15-212-116 - Waste outlets; permit required Notwithstanding the issuance of a permit, no person shall do any of the following within the Kewalo Basin without first having obtained a permit from the state department of health (not applicable to vessels):
(1) Discharge any wastes from shore into the waters of Kewalo Basin so as to reduce the quality of the water below the standards of water quality adopted for such waters by the state department of health;(2) Construct, install, modify, alter, or operate any treatment works or part thereof or any extension or addition thereto which discharges from shore into the waters of the Kewalo Basin; or(3) Construct or use any new outlet for the discharge of any wastes from shore into the waters of the Kewalo Basin.Haw.
