A lot of record or any proposed subdivision of land which is not in conformity with this subchapter, but which has received approval by the county having jurisdiction prior to the establishment of the land use district, shall be permitted as a nonconforming area subject to the ordinances and rules of the county. All lots within the nonconforming area shall be considered nonconforming parcels.
