Section 11-800-46 - Fire safety(a) The home shall conduct, document, and maintain a record, in the home, of unannounced fire drills at different times of the day, evening, and night. Fire drills shall be conducted at least monthly under varied conditions and shall include the testing of smoke detectors,(b) The home shall assure that:(1) The client who is bed bound or unable to make independent decisions about individual safety shall have a designated person available at all times capable of evacuating the client; and(2) All caregivers have been trained to implement appropriate emergency procedures in the event of a fire.[Eff 11/13/2018] (Auth: HRS §§ 321-481, 321-483, 321-485, 346-14) (Imp: HRS §§ 321-481, 321-483, 321-485, 346-14)
