The management and disposal of infectious waste shall be in accordance with chapter 11-104, Hawaii Administrative Rules. Treated infectious waste which have been rendered non-infectious may be disposed in a municipal solid waste landfill or incinerated. All infectious wastes generated within the household may be disposed as residential solid waste.
