ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY

The Administrative History following each Rule gives the date on which the Rule was originally filed and its effective date, as well as the date on which any amendment or repeal was filed and its effective date. Principal abbreviations used in the Administrative History are as follows:

Note: Emergency Rules are listed in each Rule's Administrative History by Emergency Rule number, date filed and effective date. The Emergency Rule will be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency.

Chapters 620-1 entitled "Organization", 620-2 entitled "Objective for General Control", 620-3 entitled "Licensing", 620-4 entitled "Bonds", 620-5 entitled "Advertising", 620-6 entitled "Penalties", 620- 7 entitled "Specific Objective for Wood Destroying Organism", 620-8 entitled "Inspection", 620-9 entitled "Structural Pest Control", and 620-10 entitled "Fumigation" have been adopted. Filed and effective June 30, 1965.

Chapters 620-1 to 620-9 have been repealed and new Chapters adopted. Filed October 25, 1966; effective November 13, 1966.

Chapter 620-9 repealed. Filed February 14, 1985; effective March 4, 1985. Note: Chapter 620-9 repealed was previously not recorded in the Administrative History, the error was discovered April 21, 2021 when a new Chapter 620-9 was filed and the repeal recorded as published in the Official Compilation Rules and Regulations of the State of Georgia.

Emergency Rule 620-6-0.5-.03, entitled "Official Georgia Wood Infestation Inspection Report" has been adopted. Filed and effective on January 18, 1990, the date of adoption, to remain in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. Said Emergency Rule was adopted because of revisions to the Official Wood Infestation Inspection Report used by the real estate and banking industries regarding the status of wood destroying organisms in structures included in transfer of real property. (This Emergency Rule will not be published; copies may be obtained from the Agency.)

Rule 620-2-.01 has been amended. Filed February 23, 1990; effective March 15, 1990.

Rule 620-6-.03 has been repealed and a new Rule adopted. Filed May 9, 1990; effective May 29, 1990.

Rules 620-3-.01 and .02 have been amended. Filed June 14, 1991; effective July 4, 1991.

Rule 620-6-.06 has been repealed and a new Rule adopted. Filed January 23, 1992; effective February 12, 1992.

Rule 620-3-.03 has been amended. Filed September 11, 1992; effective October 1, 1992.

Rule 620-3-.02 has been amended. Filed December 22, 1992; effective July 1, 1993, as specified by the Agency.

Rules 620-6-.04, .05 have been repealed and new Rules adopted. Rule 620-7-.02 has been amended. Rule 620-8-.06 has been adopted. Filed October 20, 1994; effective January 1, 1995, as specified by the Agency.

Rule 620-3-.01(2) has been amended. Filed March 17, 1995; effective April 6, 1995.

Rules 620-3-.02; 620-6-.02, .03, .04, .05 and .07 have been amended. Filed September 14, 1995; effective October 4, 1995.

Rule 620-6-.02 has been amended. Filed April 12, 1996; effective November 1, 1996, as specified by the Agency.

Chapters 620-3, 620-6, 620-7, 620-8 have been repealed and new Chapters adopted. Filed June 4, 1997; effective July 1, 1997, as specified by the Agency.

Rules 620-1-.02; 620-2-.01; 620-3-.01, .02; 620-6-.02 to .07; and 620-7-.02 have been amended. Rule 620-7-.03 has been adopted. Filed October 3, 2000; effective November 1, 2000, as specified by the Agency.

Rules 620-2-.01, 620-3-.01 to .03, 620-4-.01, and 620-6-.02 have been amended. Filed January 6, 2003; effective February 1, 2003, as specified by the Agency.

Emergency Rule 620-7-0.6-.03 adopted. Filed October 23, 2003; effective October 21, 2003, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. This Emergency Rule was adopted to change rule dealing with Schools pesticide treatments. (This Emergency Rule will not be published; copies may be obtained from the Agency.)

Emergency Rule 620-6-0.7-.04 adopted. Filed and effective November 10, 2003, as specified by the Agency, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. This Emergency Rule was adopted to change rule dealing with Control Measures. (This Emergency Rule will not be published; copies may be obtained from the Agency.)

Rules 620-6-.04 and 620-7-.03 have been amended superseding Emergency Rules 620-7-0.6-.03 and 620-6-0.7-.04. Filed March 4, 2004; effective March 24, 2004.

Rules 620-3-.02, 620-6-.01 to .04, and .07 have been amended. Filed August 26, 2005; effective September 16, 2005, as specified by the Agency.

Rules 620-2-.01, 620-3-.01, and .02 have been repealed and new Rules adopted. Filed February 27, 2007; effective March 19, 2007.

Chapter 620-11 entitled "Treatment of Schools" adopted. Rules 620-2-.01, 620-3-.01 to .03, 620-6-.01 to .04 and .07 amended. Rule 620-7-.03 repealed. F. Mar. 11, 2014; eff. Mar. 31, 2014.

Rules 620-1-.02, 620-3-.02, 620-6-.02, .03, .04, .06, and .07 amended. F. Aug. 11, 2017; eff. Sep. 1, 2017, as specified by the Agency.
