Rule 40-5-5-.01 - Commercial Feed License; ExemptionsThe following persons are required to obtain a Commercial Feed License before distributing commercial feed in this state:
(a) Any person who manufactures a commercial feed (including customer-formula feed) in this state;(b) Any person whose name appears on the label of commercial feed (guarantor) in this state;(c) Any distributor of commercial feed in this state, provided that no commercial feed license shall be required for distributors distributing only:1. Packaged commercial feed in the original packages or containers of a licensed manufacturer, guarantor, or distributor as packaged and labeled by the manufacturer, guarantor, or distributor and whose name and address appear on the label as required under Section 2-13-8 of the Act, or2. Bulk commercial feed in the form received from a licensee and labeled as required under Section 2-13-8 of The Act with label information furnished by such licensee, except for the net weight statement.Ga.
