ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY

The Administrative History following each Rule gives the date on which the Rule was originally filed and its effective date, as well as the date on which any amendment or repeal was filed and its effective date. Principal abbreviations used in the Administrative History are as follows:

Emergency Rule Chapters 272-1-0.1 and 272-2-0.2 adopted. Filed July 3, 1979; effective July 1, 1979, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of permanent Rules covering the same subject matter superseding these Emergency Rules are adopted, as specified by the Agency. These Emergency Rules were adopted to implement Georgia Laws 1979, Act number 612 to insure the orderly and efficient development of health care services. Emergency Rule 272-2-0.6-.07 adopted. Filed and effective March 11, 1980, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. Emergency Rule 272-2-0.7-.07 adopted. Filed October 28, 1981; effective November 1, 1981, as specified by the Agency, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. Rule 272-2-.07 has been amended superseding Emergency Rule 272-2-0.7-.07. Filed December 2, 1981; effective December 22, 1981.

Emergency Rule 272-2-0.8-.07 adopted. Filed and effective April 28, 1982, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. This Emergency Rule was adopted because the availability of data essential to the projection of population based on the 1980 United States Census has been delayed by the Bureau of the Census. Emergency Rule 272-2-0.9-.07 superseding Emergency Rule 272-2-0.8-.07 adopted. Filed August 27, 1982; effective August 25, 1982, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. Rule 272-2-.07 has been amended superseding Emergency Rule 272-2-0.9-.07. Filed August 27, 1982; effective September 16, 1982. Emergency Rule 272-2-0.10-.04 adopted. Filed January 17, 1983, effective January 14, 1983, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. Rule 272-2-.04 has been amended superseding Emergency Rule 272-2-0.10-.04. Filed February 14, 1983; effective March 6, 1983.

This Emergency Rule was adopted to declare a temporary moratorium on the filing fee related to applications for the Certificate of Need. Emergency Rule 272-2-0.13-.09(1) adopted. Filed January 19, 1984; effective January 18, 1984, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. This Emergency Rule was adopted to enable applications for ambulatory surgery services to be sent to the State Health Planning Agency. Emergency Rule 272-2-0.16-.09(13) adopted. Filed and effective February 10, 1986, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. Emergency Rule 272-2-0.17-.09(16) adopted. Filed and effective February 27, 1986, the date of adoption, to be in effect for 120 days or until the effective date of a permanent Rule covering the same subject matter superseding this Emergency Rule is adopted, as specified by the Agency. This Emergency Rule was adopted to ensure that state regulations for swing beds are more consistent with federal policies which clarify and expand the concept of swing beds.
