(2) For those claims in which the state agency is being represented by defense counsel, such counsel shall sign and submit the notice to the appropriate newspaper for publication. When no defense counsel is involved, a representative of the Division of Risk Management shall sign the notice. The notice required by section 69.081(9), F.S., shall be provided within sixty (60) days of the completion of any transactions necessary to finalize the settlement, such as exchange and receipt of documents and payments between the parties involved in the claim.Fla.
