Section 68B-13.011 - Prohibitions(1) It is unlawful for a person to possess or use any other gear or device designed to attract and enclose or otherwise aid in the taking of stone crabs with a trap that does not meet the specifications of this rule chapter.(2) It is unlawful for a person to possess or use stone crab trap tags without having the necessary number of certificates on record.(3) It is unlawful for any person to remove the contents of another harvester's trap without the trap owner providing his or her consent pursuant to the requirements of this rule chapter. Such unauthorized removal constitutes theft.(4) It is unlawful for any person to willfully molest any stone crab trap, line, or buoy that is the property of any license holder, without the permission of that license holder.(5) It is unlawful for any person to use a stone crab trap tag not issued to them by the commission, or to use an expired tag.(6) It is unlawful for any person to make, alter, forge, counterfeit, or reproduce a stone crab trap tag.(7) It is unlawful for any person to have in his or her possession a forged, counterfeit, or imitation stone crab trap tag.(8) It is unlawful for any person to barter, trade, sell, supply, agree to supply, aid in supplying, or give away a stone crab trap tag or certificate unless such action is duly authorized by the commission as provided by commission rules.(9) It is unlawful for any person to harvest stone crab claws out of season.(10) It is unlawful to fraudulently report the actual value of transferred stone crab certificates.(11) It is unlawful for a person to possess or use a stone crab trap in or on state waters or adjacent federal waters without having firmly affixed thereto the trap tag required by this rule.Fla.
