The University shall require an applicant for admission to pay an application fee at the time the application is filed, except that students who cannot pay the fee at that time shall be permitted to defer payment until the time of admission notice.
The fee shall be established by the Board for the purpose of covering the expense involved in processing the application papers.
The fee shall not be credited toward the matriculation fee if the applicant is accepted as a student.
If an applicant does not enroll as a student, the application fee shall not be refunded.
The application fee may be waived for applicants who demonstrate financial hardship under income eligibility guidelines determined by the Office of Admissions, or under other extenuating circumstances as determined by the University.
An applicant who fails to enroll for the semester for which he or she is accepted shall be required to re-apply for admission at a later time unless prior permission to defer admission has been received in writing from the University.
