All members of the University's regular (full-time) faculty shall be required to apply for University tenure when they become eligible.
In order to be eligible for tenure, a faculty member shall hold the rank of either Professor or Associate Professor.
In order to be eligible for tenure, a faculty member shall have had seven (7) years of teaching experience in an institution of higher education including five (5) years at the University or one of its predecessor institutions.
A candidate for tenure shall be required to meet the criteria for the current faculty rank held in accordance with this chapter.
