Rule 8-B1333 - RELEASED TIME
1333.1

Full-time permanent status employees shall be permitted released time during on-duty hours to take one (1) course per semester for credit or audit.

1333.2

The time away from work shall not exceed eight (8) hours per week.

1333.3

Absences under this program shall not be charged to leave and do not have to be made up by the employee.

1333.4

All released time shall be approved in advance by the employee's department head or supervisor.

1333.5

Approval of released time under this section shall be subject to the workload requirements of the University, which shall have priority.
