The salary for a faculty employee on an academic year appointment who performs research or training during the academic year on a sponsored grant or contract may be charged to the contract at a rate which does not exceed the individual employee's base annual contract salary.
The salary for a faculty employee who performs research or training on a sponsored grant or contract during the summer may be charged to the contract at a rate which does not exceed the individual faculty employee's monthly base salary for the most recent year.
