An employee who is required to work on a holiday is entitled to holiday premium pay. Holiday premium pay is double the amount of an employee's rate of basic pay.
An employee who is required to work on a holiday, but whose absence is approved by management, shall be charged sick leave, annual leave, or other leave as appropriate.
An employee under an alternative work schedule who is required to work on his/her AWS day off, which falls on a holiday shall be entitled to holiday premium pay.
