Rule 6-B431 - RANDOM DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING
431.1

Employees in safety sensitive positions shall be subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Such employees shall be placed in a random drug and alcohol testing pool.

431.2

Each year, the program administrator shall conduct a number of random drug tests that shall be at least equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total drug and alcohol testing pool.

431.3

Similarly, each year, the program administrator shall conduct a number of alcohol tests that shall be at least equal to ten percent (10%) of the total drug and alcohol testing pool.

431.4

Employees in the drug and alcohol pool shall be randomly selected in a manner consistent with accepted industry practice.

431.5

Random drug and alcohol testing shall be conducted in accordance with §§425 through 427.
