Rule 5-E901 - FEES
901.1

The Board of Education shall charge each eligible applicant a fee not to exceed one hundred fifty dollars ($150) for processing the petition/application to establish a public charter school. Applications submitted without the requisite fee shall be returned to the eligible applicant.

901.2

The Board of Education will charge each school to which it has granted a charter an administrative fee of one-half (1/2) of one percent (1%) of the annual budget of the school to cover the cost of undertaking the ongoing administrative responsibilities related to the chartering authority's functions. Each public charter school shall pay the administrative fee not later than November 15th of each year.

901.3

The annual budget shall be defined as the local appropriation based on the per pupil student enrollment. In such cases as the payment of local appropriation is delayed, the date for payment of the administrative fee shall be adjusted accordingly.
