Rule 5-A2806 - LEARNING TIME2806.1The school year of a nonpublic special education school or program shall include a minimum of one hundred eighty (180) regular instructional school days, exclusive of any Extended School Year (ESY) period mandated by an IEP.
2806.2Each regular instructional school day shall be at least six (6) hours in length for students, inclusive of time allotted for lunch periods, recesses, and class breaks, except that the six (6) hour minimum instructional school day requirement shall not be applicable to any evening school program, prekindergarten program, or other alternative program approved by OSSE.
