Rule 31-610 - NOTICE OF PASSENGER RIGHTS610.1There shall be displayed in a conspicuous location in each taxicab in clear view of the passenger a notice in a form created by Office which contains the following information:
(a) A statement that a taxicab must accept credit cards through the approved taximeter system; (b) A statement that a taxicab shall not operate without a functioning taximeter system; (c) A statement that failure to accept a credit card is in violation of the law and is punishable by a fine; and (d) Information required for passengers to submit an alleged violation or complaint, including the Commission's telephone number and website address.
