Rule 31-500 - APPLICATION AND SCOPE

500.1

This chapter shall apply to and govern all taxicab companies, associations, fleets, and in some instances, independently owned taxicabs, in the District of Columbia.

500.2

The provisions of this chapter shall be interpreted to comply with the language and intent of the "District of Columbia Taxicab Commission Establishment Act of 1985," as amended.

500.3

In the event of a conflict between a provision of this section and any other provision of this title, the more restrictive provision shall apply.
