The facility is encouraged to develop and implement a written plan to provide and promote volunteer service, including but not limited to application procedures, selection criteria, selection process, training requirements, supervision, coordination of services, quality assurance, and termination of service.
All volunteer staff members shall complete the training required pursuant to § 6229.2.
The facility is encouraged to establish positive relationships with members of the community.
As provided in § 6218.5, the administrator and the local advisory committee shall biannually conduct an open community meeting.
