Rule 29-5203 - MEDICATION/SOMATIC TREATMENT5203.1Medication/Somatic treatment services shall:
(a) Be provided in fifteen (15) minute units;(b) Not be billed on the same day as IDT;(c) Not be billed while a consumer is enrolled in ACT, unless the service is rendered by another MHRS provider and is either:(1) During the first thirty (30) calendar days after enrollment into ACT or within thirty (30) calendar days prior to disenrollment from ACT; or(2) The service is otherwise authorized by DBH; and(d) Be provided in a DBH-certified MHRS provider's service site or home or community settings by Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), Physician Assistants (PAs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).5203.2Medication/Somatic Treatment services shall be delivered in accordance with the requirements set forth in Chapter 34 of Title 22-A DCMR.
