Rule 29-521 - EMS PROVIDERS: RECERTIFICATION, REINSTATEMENT, AND OUT OF STATE APPLICATIONS
521.1

Each applicant for renewal shall submit the items required for the certification level requested to the Director no later than May 31 of the year in which his or her certification expires.

521.2

If an applicant has previously held a District EMS provider certification that has lapsed, he or she may apply for reinstatement of his or her previous District certification by submitting the items required for the certification level requested and indicating his or her former status on the application.

521.3

If an applicant is currently certified as an EMS provider in another state, the applicant may apply to the Director to be considered for a District of Columbia certification. The application shall include all required items for the certification level requested plus verification of status from the State where the applicant is currently certified.
