Rule 29-1600 - GENERAL PROVISIONS; ADMINISTRATION

1600.1

This chapter shall govern the placement of children under 16 years of age in family homes and the care and guidance to be provided children and their families during the placement process.

1600.2

Each child-placing agency shall have a written statement of its child-placing philosophy, purpose, and program. The statement shall contain a description of each service the agency provides and the methods of service delivery. The statement shall be available to the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, referral sources, and the public on request.

1600.3

Each child-placing agency shall provide a description of the geographical area the agency serves or intends to serve with the specific services it provides or proposes to provide.

1600.4

Each child-placing agency shall have an office and staff within the District of Columbia.
