Rule 29-1450 - PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCES

1450.1

The Director of the Department of Health (Director) shall allow each District of Columbia resident who is a recipient of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and who lives in a community residence facility or Assisted Living Residence to retain a personal needs allowance for clothing and personal needs.

1450.2

Each individual entitled to a personal needs allowance pursuant to § 1450.1 shall retain the personal needs allowance from his or her monthly SSI benefit amount.

1450.3

The personal needs allowance in § 1450.1 shall be one hundred dollars ($100) per month.
