Rule 29-10300 - GENERAL PROVISIONS

10300.1

The purpose of this chapter is to establish the requirements governing Medicaid reimbursement for Housing Supportive Services (HSS), effective May 1, 2022.

10300.2

In order to be eligible for HSS, beneficiaries shall be subject to the following:

(1) Medicaid eligibility requirements set forth in Chapter 95 (Medicaid Eligibility) of Title 29 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR); and

(2) HSS eligibility factors set forth in Chapter 74 (Housing Supportive Services and Provider Certification Standards) of Title 29 DCMR.

10300.3

DHCF shall review all policies used by the Department of Human Services (DHS) in establishing standards for determining each Medicaid beneficiary's eligibility for HSS set forth in Chapter 74 of Title 29 DCMR, which must be approved by DHCF.
