Rule 27-1644 - CANCELLATION OF REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS
1644.1

An RFP shall not be canceled unless the Director determines in writing that cancellation is in the best interest of the District.

1644.2

If an RFP is canceled before the date and time set for receipt of proposals, the contracting officer shall:

(a) Return to the offerors unopened proposals that have been received via mail or hand-delivery; or
(b) Purge all bids that have been received electronically from primary and backup data storage systems.
1644.4

If an RFP is canceled after opening of proposals, the proposals shall be retained in the procurement file.

1644.5

The contracting officer shall post on the Internet a notice of cancellation which shall briefly explain the reason the RFP is being canceled.
