Rule 27-1637 - DETERMINATION OF THE COMPETITIVE RANGE
1637.1

The competitive range shall be determined on the basis of price and other factors, in accordance with the evaluation criteria that were stated in the RFP, and shall include all of the most highly rated proposals.

1637.2

If all offerors have been notified in the solicitation of the possibility that the competitive range can be limited for purposes of efficiency, the contracting officer may determine to limit the number of proposals in the competitive range to the greatest number that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposals.

1637.3

If the contracting officer decides that an offeror's proposal should no longer be included in the competitive range, the proposal shall be eliminated from consideration for award.

1637.4

The contracting officer shall notify, in writing, an unsuccessful offeror at the earliest practicable time that its proposal is no longer being considered for award.
