Rule 25-D202 - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - MASSAGE THERAPISTS, BASIC KNOWLEDGE202.1Massage therapists shall have basic knowledge of:
(a) Anatomy, physiology, hygiene and manual and mechanical massage therapy;(b) Proper procedures for sanitizing equipment;(c) Emergency procedures to be followed in case of an actual or alleged injury;(d) Recordkeeping requirements and maintenance of records; and(e) Communicable diseases to protect the customers of the massage therapist and the massage therapist from the transmission of such a disease while engaging in massage therapy.D.C.
