The physical facilities of a shellfish operation shall be maintained in good repair.
Grounds around the facility shall be maintained in a manner that prevents rodent attraction and harborage, and provides adequate drainage to avoid shellfish contamination.
In accordance with section 2012, animals shall not be allowed in areas where shellfish are stored, handled, processed, or packaged or where food handling equipment, utensils, and packaging materials are cleaned or stored.
