Chemical sanitizers and other chemical antimicrobials applied to food-contact surfaces shall meet the requirements of 40 CFR 180.940 - Tolerance exemptions for active and inert ingredients for use in antimicrobial formulations (Food-contact surface sanitizing solutions).
