Receptacles and waste handling units for refuse, recyclables, and returnables located inside the food procession operation shall be kept covered after they are filled or if they contain food residue and are not in continuous use. If located outside the food processing operation, receptacles and units shall be kept covered with tight-fitting lids or doors.
