Policy: Records and documents pertinent to an employee's employment at PBC shall be maintained in Human Resources. All such records are confidential and shall not be viewed, entered or omitted without the consent of the Vice President of Human Resources or his/her designee, or in accordance with applicable law, or to comply with legal process or in defense of claims against the PBC. Pertinent records shall be maintained in the files for periods in accordance with applicable laws. Employees in professions requiring licensure or certification shall be responsible for ensuring that such documents are kept current and are on record in Human Resources.
