The Director may issue a cease and desist order when a hazardous condition exists that may endanger the health, safety, or welfare of the community.
The violator shall be notified in writing to cease operations immediately and that the violator is entitled to appeal the cease and desist order.
A person subject to a cease and desist order may request a hearing within seven (7) business days after service of the order but shall be required to comply with the order, pending appeal.
The Director shall hold a hearing within seven (7) calendar days of a receipt of a timely request and issue a decision within seven (7) calendar days after the hearing.
