Rule 22-B3926 - SOCIAL SERVICES

3926.1

If social services are provided, they shall be provided in accordance with the patient's plan of care and in consultation with the patient.

3926.2

Social services shall be provided by order of a physician by a licensed independent clinical social worker, a licensed independent social worker, or a licensed graduate social worker, in accordance with HORA.

3926.3

Social services shall include:

(a) Evaluating the social and emotional needs of a patient;

(b) Assessing whether supplemental services, such as household support, are adequate for the patient's needs;

(c) Delivering services in accordance with the plan of care; and

(b) Acting as a consultant to agency staff.
